Gift Card Bouquet

Instead of sending your teacher home with pounds of candy and desserts, opt for a more personal gift with this gift card bouquet. Look at nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and bookstores and purchase small gift cards to each. Then present them taped to cutout flowers to create a makeshift bouquet. This gift is perfect way to encourage your favorite teachers to get outside the classroom and explore their city. Purchase gift cards for local theaters, or even painting classes, to help your teachers plan some perfect weekends.

Book-inspired Gifts

Whether your teacher is trying to build up their homeroom library or their home library, a great way to show how much you appreciate them is buy buying them books or book related items. Rally the entire class together and each buy a book for your teacher, then present them in a basket for a perfect presentation. Another great way to give book-inspired gifts, is to take a look at your local bookstore’s upcoming calendar. Often bookstores like our beloved Boulder Bookstore, or Tattered Cover, offer tickets to author readings and events. Send your teacher to a night out listening to their favorite author, or an up-and-coming debut writer, for an academic and memorable experience.
